Yoga

Constantly rushing, taking care of the kids, going to work, going to the gym, sleep and then all over again the next day. Stress society. How much more can we take and how much more do we want to take. Even though yoga has been around for many centuries lately it started to get really popular. Here are 3 types of yoga you can now attend to relief:

  1. Weed yoga – The legalisation of weed in California, USA, creates opportunities for young and creative entrepreneurs.  Dee Dussault has started a yoga class in combination with the use of weed. She claims to be the first yoga instructor outside of India to offer public cannabis-enhanced classes. But to her, it’s more than just the use of weed but also the mindfulness. The ability to move your body and use your mind freely.

2. Yoga with goats – Sounds odd, but looks like great fun. By doing yoga with goats and other animals you feel relaxed and leave with a clearer mind. The yoga instructor who invented this type yoga actually had no attention to having the yoga class with goats, he just wanted to be on the farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, with views of the Oregon Coast Range of mountains, the goats were just there. After the first class, the idea became a huge hit and was trending on social media. goat-yoga

3. Heliyoga – The world’s most exclusive yoga class. So high up red sandstone peaks of Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park, you have to get there by helicopter. The class is so exclusive there is only room for 6 students and costs around 583 dollars (a class). The total cost covers limousine pick-up from your hotel room or from your home (if you’re within 5 miles of the Strip) to the Las Vegas helicopter terminal, where you board a top-of-the-line helicopter for a 20-minute ride to the top of the Valley of Fire, about 3,000 feet above the ground. Other than the luxurious pick-up there are not many differences between regular, close to the ground yoga, and this yoga class. heliyoga-1

These types of yoga are probably coming from the fact that we want a full experience instead of just a yoga class. In this world where everything is already done, we are constantly looking for new and exciting experiences, something that hasn’t been done by your neighbour.
