Human Engineering Research Lab in Pittsburgh have designed a wheelchair completely running on air. They use compressed air so you don’t have to rely on heavy batteries. Because the chair runs on air, there are no electric parts and it is waterproof. It takes just 10 minutes to charge the chair. Because there are no electric parts it’s easy to replace the parts and can be bought at a local hardware store.
The chair is sustainable, cheap and light, making it perfect for people with disabilities.
