Alix Bizet is a French design student in Eindhoven the Netherlands who designed clothing entirely made out of human hair, collected in African American hairdressers. Why? Because it’s a sustainable solution, an animal-friendly alternative to fur, and an embracement of our cultural ethnic differences. A quite clever thought behind it but that doesn’t make it less controversial. Alix wants to eliminate the taboo because we forget how easy it is to collect your own hair.
